Vaccination Schedule

Follow the timeline below to stay on track with core puppy vaccinations.

The first core shot is preferred at 6 weeks of age, but it can be started later when needed. After that first shot, the next core doses are spaced 3 weeks apart.

It is important to use the correct vaccine product at each checkpoint so the timeline stays accurate. The app helps you track each dose, keeps due dates organized, and sends reminders so you do not miss upcoming shots.

Do-It-Yourself Vaccination Guide

Each single-dose bag of Canine Spectra or Feline Focus vaccine contains a syringe and two vials: one with liquid contents and one with freeze-dried contents. Use immediately after mixing as shown below.

Step One

Insert needle directly through the cap of liquid vial, then withdraw the contents into syringe.

Step Two

Inject liquid contents of the syringe into the vial of dried material. Mix gently until dissolved.

Step Three

Withdraw entire vaccine mixture (1 mL) into syringe. Remove air by gently pushing plunger until vaccine just begins to flow from the needle.

Step Four

The recommended vaccination site is the loose skin at back of neck and shoulder. Gently grasp and elevate a fold of loose skin. Insert needle into soft tissue directly under skin and inject entire contents of syringe.
